2026 Back to School Back Pack Drive

The Sertoma Club of Watauga, in partnership with First Baptist Watauga, came together on Saturday, July 25th, to give hundreds of local students a head start on the new school year. The annual back-to-school event provided free backpacks filled with school supplies to children throughout the community, helping ease the financial burden many families face as classes approach.

This year's event went beyond just backpacks. Families were welcomed with a variety of vendors and community services offering resources students may need before heading back to the classroom — from health and wellness information to other back-to-school essentials, all available in one convenient location.

The backpack giveaway has become a beloved annual tradition, reflecting the Sertoma Club of Watauga's continued commitment to investing in the youth of our community. Year after year, the club and its partners rally together to make sure local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Our mission is to serve the community of Watauga and ensure those who need help have it. Sertoma's mission and passion is to improve the quality of life for those at risk of, or impacted by, hearing loss through education and support.
